How to Use AI to Solve Your Business Problems

with Guest Speaker, Don Mangiarelli of Cyber Security Hawaii

AI is everywhere—but most businesses are using it the wrong way… or not at all.
In this dynamic and eye-opening session, Hawaii-based cybersecurity and IT expert Don Mangiarelli shares how commercial real estate companies can stop spinning their wheels with AI and start using it to actually solve problems, save time, and grow.
The talk kicks off with a powerful behind-the-scenes story: how AI helped compress a complex onboarding process from hours to minutes. From there, we’ll explore the AI adoption curve, why most people jump in, get overwhelmed, and quit and how to avoid that trap with a smarter, security-first approach.
You’ll learn how AI can:
  • Generate marketing content like carousels, videos, lead magnets, and social media posts
  • Uncover new commercial real estate leads before they hit the market
  • Automate deal flow and operations so you can scale without burnout

But with great power comes great risk.
We’ll break down the real cybersecurity threats of business AI adoption, like data leakage, prompt injection, data poisoning, and third-party vulnerabilities and show how easily employees can compromise sensitive data without realizing it.
You’ll leave with a new mindset, practical examples, and an understanding of how to safely integrate AI into your business, plus a preview of the secure AI consulting service that can make it all turnkey.
This isn’t a tech talk. It’s a business survival guide for the AI age.

His passion for computing ignited in 1981 when his father gifted the family an early-model IBM PC. After Servco, Don became the IT director at The Shidler Group, a position he held for 12 years, where he founded an ISP that served 7 office buildings and over 500 tenants. During his tenure at Shidler he led the company through a SOX compliance project and expansion the company from its Honolulu HQ to 13 offices across 3 states. In 2011, he founded Enterprise Technology Solutions, a full-service IT company offering risk assessment, security monitoring, systems management, and more. Recognizing the evolving digital landscape, especially with the rise of remote work due to the Covid epidemic, Don steered the company to focus more on cybersecurity to address the increasing vulnerabilities businesses face bringing what he learned serving some of the worlds largest retail clients such as, The Home Depot, Costco, CVS and State Farm, to Hawaii’s small businesses. Beyond his professional endeavors, Don is committed to educating business owners about cybersecurity threats and protection strategies, as well as how to utilize and secure AI in the workplace. He actively participates in networking events and speaks at conferences to raise awareness about the importance of robust cybersecurity measures and the power of AI usage in the workplace. In his time away from work Don enjoys spending time with family, coaching soccer, cooking gourmet meals and photography.
